Philosophy of Teaching

The process of learning is like climbing a steep hill. Without consistent efforts and enthusiasm, you won't be able to climb to the top and appreciate the wonderful scenery ahead of you. In order to help my students foster a positive language learning experience and to keep their interest, I believe that:

Each student is equally valued and respected.

Teaching should be student-centered and the teacher should make the material relevant to the student’s life.

Making adjustments in the material and pace of the class to suit the student with different levels is very important.

Teacher should use different teaching strategies to help student learn.

Striving to create a positive affective filter in the classroom can help students feel comfortable participating in class. In my class, I use different games and activities to keep students’ interest.

Promoting cross-culture awareness and appreciation from such as story, music and festivals is a part of language learning .

Keeping good discipline in class is also crucial. After all, when you control the kids, you control everything!
